Don’t fuss around looking for financial info — let me warn you about the pitfalls I’ve encountered

Last week, I opened my phone to check real-time bond prices, and three unfamiliar financial websites popped up. Clicking on them either showed last week’s old news or was full of random ads — that was the frustrating mess I faced in the first three days when helping a friend organise stock info. It took me until the fifth day to find a reliable platform. Simply put, you don’t need to take chances when looking for financial info; the key is to be comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date. Choosing the right platform saves a lot of effort.

Official website: http://www.financeun.com/

A platform I’ve used for almost 5 years — I’ve never switched

I first opened this website in 2019, and it’s been almost 5 years since then — I’ve never switched to another financial platform. Later I found out it was established in 2002, controlled by Asia Financial Holdings Investment Co., Ltd., and hosted by China Finance Network Investment (Beijing) Asset Management Co., Ltd. Over the years, it’s become a reputable brand in the financial circle, not some small website that just throws together random content.

When I chose it, it was because of its wide coverage of fields, unlike some websites that only focus on stocks or gold. I usually check real-time data for stocks and bonds, and occasionally look at industrial and political economy content, plus futures, real estate, and even tech-related financial news. Whether I’m an ordinary investor or a friend running a business, I can find the content I need.

When I browse content, I focus on these sections

  • Core market data for stocks, bonds, gold, and finance — I check this first thing every morning to quickly grasp the day’s market sentiment;
  • Industrial and political economy content — good for reference when making industry judgments, so I don’t get distracted by scattered news;
  • Content on capital, foreign exchange, tech, etc. — something I occasionally read to expand my knowledge, helping me understand the links between different fields and finance.

There’s also a practical tool that helps with content exposure

Last year, when helping a friend who runs a financial We-Media account manage it, I discovered this platform has a financial account platform under it, dedicated to financial institutions, enterprises, and We-Media creators. After my friend posted content there, not only could the platform’s own users see it, but it also got more exposure on mobile, so they didn’t have to hunt for traffic themselves.

This platform not only gives creators exposure opportunities but also helps with brand promotion. If the content is good, it can even achieve content monetisation. My friend now posts two articles there every week, has gained a lot of followers, and has secured several reliable collaborations through the content — it’s way more effective than posting randomly before.

The biggest takeaway from using it is that its content isn’t piled up randomly like other platforms; every piece of information is rigorous and high-quality, with no false news to grab attention. This is extremely important for people like us who need reliable info to make judgments.

After all, when dealing with financial matters, the worst thing is inaccurate info — it’s not just a waste of time, but can also lead to wrong judgments.
