The Way to AGIA comprehensive knowledge base and community platform focused on the field of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), aiming to provide comprehensive AI learning resources...

Not long ago, I was planning learning paths for friends new to AI, and found that most people have fallen into the same trap: after trying ChatGPT and Midjourney, they rush to read a bunch of scattered technical posts, only to get more confused and not know where to focus their efforts. In fact, if you can find a clear path, getting started with Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) doesn’t require taking so many detours. The Way to AGI is exactly a place that helps people avoid unnecessary mistakes.
Let’s clarify the basics of this platform first
Official website: https://www.waytoagi.com/zh
That said, I found this platform because of its “one-stop” feature — after all, the AI content I saw before was either pure technical papers or scattered tool recommendations, and no one had ever integrated knowledge, community, and practice together.
It’s not a technical site that just piles up useful content; it’s one of the few platforms in China that organizes resources in the general AI field. Built by a group of veteran AI practitioners, its positioning is to serve as a knowledge base and community for those who want to learn AGI systematically.
It’s not just about providing materials, it’s about connecting the dots
I find this particularly practical. Many people learning AI either only read articles without hands-on practice, or only use tools without understanding the principles. This platform intentionally links these two aspects together. You can quietly build up your basics, or stay in the community to discuss practical problems you encounter — unlike other places where learning and application are separated.
Before, on other sites, if I wanted to find a path from beginner to practical use, I had to flip through several posts and was afraid of choosing the wrong direction. You don’t have to go through that trouble here. Its content is arranged along a clear line, not scattered here and there.
Follow its sections, and you’ll gradually understand AGI
I’ve sorted it out: its core content is actually four sections, arranged from beginner to advanced. You don’t need to plan blindly; just follow it.
First section: Build your basic understanding first
This section is prepared for people with zero foundation, so don’t worry about not understanding. It includes the Brief History of AI, Brief History of AI Art, and explanations of key figures and terms, which is equivalent to building an overall framework for AI for you, so you won’t be overwhelmed by terms when you first start.
When I first looked at it, I went through the articles on the Brief History of AI, and roughly understood the context of AI from its early days to now, which is much clearer than the scattered information I searched for blindly.
Second section: For advanced learners, check these contents
If you’re already a beginner and want to go further, check the advanced section. Here you’ll find 0-to-1 series articles, in-depth analyses, dedicated AI learning paths, and Prompt best practices.
I used to feel that I couldn’t use Prompt well when writing. After reading the best practices here, I realized that it’s not just about typing a random sentence; you need to adjust it according to the scenario, which is way more efficient than trying blindly.
Third section: If you want to get hands-on, check the practice guides
Reading alone is useless; you need to do it yourself. This section is prepared for practical operations. It includes guides to building AI assistants, introductions to AI art, AI voice and digital human creation — each item is content you can start using directly.
Last month, following the AI assistant guide, I made a simple copywriting assistant myself. Although its functions are simple, being able to apply what I’ve learned is more practical than reading ten theoretical articles.
Fourth section: Extended resources, enough to explore for a while
If you’ve finished the previous content, there’s also an Extended Resources section. The content here is supplementary, not too miscellaneous, and all are practical content related to general AI. Don’t worry about not being able to finish it; there’s enough to digest slowly.
One extra note about its Feishu Docs entry
It also has a knowledge base on Feishu Docs, with the address https://waytoagi.feishu.cn/wiki/QPe5w5g7UisbEkkow8XcDmOpn8e. Some content is updated in more detail here. If you’re used to Feishu, you can directly enter from here.
In short, the most valuable thing about this platform is that it doesn’t make AGI seem like something out of reach. It connects scattered content, allowing ordinary people to gradually get started without being intimidated by a bunch of technical terms from the very beginning.
