When you first move to Yingde and search for local rental properties, the listings you find are still from half a year ago; when you want to find a local job, the positions you search for have already been filled long ago — many people have encountered such frustrating situations. There is a comprehensive life information portal in Yingde that has been operating for nearly 20 years, which helps people avoid these pitfalls, and it is Yingde Xiaochong Net.

Figure out your own needs first

Official website: http://bbs.e763.com/

Yingde Xiaochong Net was founded on September 1, 2005 by a graduate of the computer science department. When it first launched, computer penetration in Yingde was low, so not many people paid attention to it. Later, it gradually grew with the help of like-minded users, and now covers the urban area and all towns and villages of Yingde. Its sections are fully designed around the daily needs of local residents; before browsing, clarify what type of information you need.

• If you are looking for local real estate, focus on the real estate information section: the buying, selling and rental information here is updated in real time, so there will be no outdated listings from half a year ago, which can save you a lot of unnecessary trips
• If you are looking for a job or recruiting staff, check the job hunting and recruitment section: the positions posted by companies and personal resumes are all genuine, there is no false information that is not what it seems, and the matching efficiency is high

Verify the authenticity and reliability of the information again

The information on many local platforms is unreliable, either fake positive reviews generated by merchants or exaggerated descriptions of second-hand items. Yingde Xiaochong Net has a clear screening process in this regard, so you don’t have to worry about falling into such traps.

• The flea market section is a dedicated second-hand trading area. The idle items posted by users are mostly from their own homes, with no middleman markup, and you can directly discuss details with the seller
• The consumer review section is a platform for sharing real consumer reviews, not content generated by merchants themselves, which can help you avoid merchants with poor service and find reliable consumption channels

Don’t overlook its additional practical value

In addition to daily life information services, Yingde Xiaochong Net has many easily overlooked additional functions, which are useful for both local residents and Yingde people living outside the city, which is also the reason why it has remained stable for 18 years.

Its commercial information section is where local merchants promote and publish promotional activities, allowing citizens to receive consumption benefits in a timely manner and not miss opportunities to save money. In addition, the website organizes volunteer teams to carry out public welfare activities such as poverty alleviation and environmental cleaning, and cooperates with the Yingde Youth Photographers Association to build a media matrix to spread local news further.

In 2017, it won the title of “Top 10 Most Influential Online Media”. Now it is not only an information channel relied on by local residents, but also a link connecting Yingde people living outside the city with their hometown, helping those outside to see the changes in their hometown in a timely manner.
